After hearing that Nero's Digital MP4 was a better version of the MPEG-4 codec I figured out something. 1)DVD Decrypter 2)Nero 7's Recode (recode to Nero Digital) 3)use MP4CAM2AVI_v2.27 to alter the file to be divx-compatible I've tested this on two DVD-Video's with complete success. "Charlie's Angels 2" was encoded, modified then burned to a DVD-RW at 1/4 DVD (1120MB) size and I could NOT tell the difference between the orignal DVD and it on my Divx-compatible player (LG LDA-530). I used the highest encoding settings, but I recommend trying this method on a small vob file and experimenting with the settings if you think a lesser setting will give you the best time/quality ratio. The Nero interface is MUCH easier to use. Wow!! (MP4CAM2AVI_v2.27 does not recode. there is no loss of video quality. beyond that, I'm not sure exactly how it makes the file divx-compatible)
